A: At CanPharm, our licensed pharmacists review your medical profile and then verify your order for accuracy and possible interactions with other medications you may be taking.
We only buy pharmaceuticals from licensed manufacturers/ wholesalers who follow established Good Distribution Practices/ Good Manufacturing Practices and are overseen in their respective jurisdictions by Regulatory bodies similar to the US FDA. In many cases, the US FDA themselves inspects the manufacturing facilities of these manufacturers and several of their manufacturing plants are in fact USFDA approved.
Additionally, we only distribute medications which are obtained in the manufacturers' original and unopened packaging, complete with lot number and expiry date.
We only buy generic product from top-tiered generic manufacturers who are also regulated and inspected in similar fashion and manufacture safe, quality generic products with the same active ingredients as the brand product.
Q. Who is CIPA and what do they do?
A: CIPA is a Canadian association of licensed, regulated pharmacies. Patient safety is a top priority for CIPA members and because of unregulated rogue pharmacies, patients need to exercise caution by only ordering from trusted sources. CIPA certification assures you that the pharmacy provider is licensed, reputable and adheres to stringent safety protocols. All CIPA members are licensed and regulated by various government agencies for safety. CIPA member pharmacies require valid and signed prescriptions, typically for 90-day supplies of drugs and maintenance medications. We do not sell controlled substances. Patient privacy is assured by CIPA members, who follow the same stringent confidentiality and safety procedures as U.S. pharmacies. Additionally, CIPA members do not send any unsolicited email (SPAM) or sell addresses to others. For your safety and privacy, we recommend dealing only with sites displaying the CIPA seal.
Q. Why do the pills I received look different than the ones I get from my local pharmacy?
A: Firstly, if you are used to Brand Name pills and you have ordered a Generic from us, the pills we send you WILL LOOK DIFFERENT. Trademark laws do not allow a generic drugs to look exactly like the brand-name drug. However, while colors, flavors and other inactive ingredients may be different, the drug must duplicate the active ingredients.
Q: I am on 5 different drugs, you don't seem to list them all-can you ship them?
A: We have identified a large number of drugs where we can offer significant cost savings.
If a drug does not appear on our list it is probably because there is not a significant
saving on what you would pay normally.
