This medicine is an antifungal used to treat diaper rashes in certain pediatric patients. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Directions:

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine comes with a patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. Wash and completely dry the affected area. Gently apply the ointment to the diaper area with the fingertips after each diaper change. Do not rub the ointment in the skin as this may cause additional irritation. Wash your hands immediately after using this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C), in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, and light. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. TO CLEAR UP YOUR INFECTION COMPLETELY, continue using this medicine for the full course of treatment even if you feel better in a few days. Do not miss any doses.

Cautions:

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE or use this medicine for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are using this medicine. AVOID GETTING THIS MEDICINE IN YOUR EYES or on the inside of your nose, mouth, or vagina. BEFORE YOU BEGIN USING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
