This medicine is a smoking deterrent used to help you stop smoking.

Directions:

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. THIS MEDICINE COMES WITH A PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. SKIN SITES SHOULD NOT BE REUSED FOR AT LEAST ONE WEEK. DO NOT LEAVE THE SAME PATCH ON FOR LONGER THAN 24 hours. When the used patch is removed from the skin, it should be folded over and placed in the protective pouch of the new patch. DISPOSE OF IT immediately by placing it in the trash out of reach of children and pets. RINSE YOUR HANDS thoroughly with water after using this medicine. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dosed and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do NOT use 2 doses at once.

Cautions:

DO NOT USE MORE OF THIS MEDICINE than recommended by your doctor. DO NOT SMOKE CIGARETTES while using this medicine. DO NOT APPLY TO SKIN THAT IS OILY, BURNED, IRRITATED, OR DAMAGED in any way. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes. If you get this medicine in your eyes, wash them out immediately with cool tap water. FOR WOMEN: THIS MEDICINE HAS BEEN SHOWN TO CAUSE HARM to the human fetus. IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
