CanPharm Quality Assurance - Making your choice a little easier!

As there has been a tremendous amount of media attention on the export of prescription medications from Canada we thought it would be helpful to provide you with a safety guideline on what to "look" for when choosing an online pharmacy:

  1. Provincial pharmacy license number on the pharmacy website - it is important for you to check to see that there is a licensed pharmacy listed on the front page of the website.
  2. If you would like to confirm this information you can phone the Provincial Regulatory Authority to confirm the license or go to www.napra.org or www.pharmacists.ca to view a list of the regulators.
  3. Look for a physical address in Canada on the website
  4. Look for toll free phone numbers to call and speak to a customer service representative or the Pharmacist.
  5. Make sure that the pharmacy requires a prescription from a licensed physician.
  6. Make sure the pharmacy requires a patient medical history including allergies.
  7. Look for the CIPA certification seal on the pharmacy website (member of the Canadian International Pharmacy Association).
  8. Avoid SPAM & pop-up ads that promise cheap prescription drugs or narcotics.

As we dedicate ourselves to quality care we follow very strict guidelines to ensure our patients received the highest level of care. Our team of professionals are here to ensure that your health and wellness are our first priority. Take the time to review our site in detail; we are confident you will see that we take our role in your health very seriously.

The FDA, due to the current state of their regulations, has taken the position that virtually all shipments of prescription drugs imported from a Canadian pharmacy by a U.S. consumer will violate the law.
