A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Each Tavist (Clemastine fumarate) tablet contains clemastine fumarate. Inactive ingredients include corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose.
You should not use Tavist Allergy if you are allergic to clemastine.
