Clomicalm (Clomipramine hydrochloride)

Clomicalm is a medication used to treat behavior conditions, such as separation anxiety, in dogs. Dogs with this separation anxiety are often well behaved when people are around, but when left alone, they become anxious, and start chewing, digging, inappropriate elimination, or barking when alone. For Dogs 6 months and older

Directions

Give once daily with food. Ensure pet has plenty of water to drink. Clomicalm tablets can be administered as a single daily dose or twice daily based on pets dosage and response.

General Dosage Overview:

11-22 lbs: Give one 20mg tablet once daily

22.1-44 lbs: Give one 40mg tablet once daily

44.1-88 lbs: Give one 80mg tablet once daily

88.1-176 lbs: Give two 80mg tablets once daily

Possible Side effects: Drowsiness or dizziness; dry mouth and eyes; constipation; panting; mild agitation, weakness or headache; nausea or loss of weight or appetite may occur. Consult your veterinarian.

Clomicalm tablets are not for cats. Keep away from children and pets.
