Lanoxin (Digoxin)

Chemical Name: DIGOXIN (di-JOX-in).

Lanoxin is a TABLET but CANNOT be split in half.

Lanoxin is used to treat heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias). It helps the heart work better and it helps control your heart rate.

Cautions

SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication include dizziness or lightheadedness, drowsiness, vision changes, rash and irregular heartbeat.

• Pinpoint red spots on the skin
• Rash with flat lesions or small raised lesions on the skin
• Severe stomach pain
• Unusual bleeding or bruising
