Directions

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine comes with a patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. Wash and completely dry the affected area. Gently rub the medicine in until it is evenly distributed. DO NOT BANDAGE OR WRAP the affected area unless directed otherwise by your doctor. Wash your hands immediately after using this medicine, unless your hands are part of the treated area. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C), in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, and light. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using 1 dose daily, use the missed dose if you remember the same day. Skip the missed dose if you do not remember until the next day. DO NOT use 2 doses at once.

Chemical Name BETAMETHASONE (bay-ta-METH-a-sone) and CALCIPOTRIENE (kal-si-POE-try-een)

DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED without checking with your doctor. Laboratory and/or medical tests, including cosyntropin stimulation test or blood calcium level may be performed to monitor your progress or to check for side effects. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are using this medicine. THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE increased sensitivity to the sun. Avoid exposure to the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to this medicine. Use a sunscreen or protective clothing if you must be outside for a prolonged period. Do not use any other medicines or special cleansers on your skin unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. AVOID GETTING THIS MEDICINE IN YOUR EYES or on the inside of your nose or mouth. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE on the face, underarms. or groin areas. FOR WOMEN IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.
